I think it's an unfair critism to say that he hasn't been ranked well from the pay sites. They currently have him listed as follows:

 

ESPN:3 Star Rating - 74 rating - #78 OLB in the country

Scout: 3 Star Rating - #102 best OLB in the country

247: 82 rating - #87th best OLB in the country, #171 in State

Rivals: 2 Star Rating - 5.4 score

 

It's really just Rivals that has him underrated here and I think I read that Singer expects him to get a bump up once he is further evaluated this fall.

Not disagreeing with the 'focus on the offers' and 'he'll blow up his senior season' comments, but those rankings are exactly what I was referring to. 78/102/87/NR are pretty mediocre rankings. Top 50 for their position is a decent ranking.

Juwuan, Hollywood and Josh Black also blowing up the Bay . Looks like Taggs has an eye for the REAL talent.

 

 

 

 

Honorable mention

Jefferson linebacker Juwuan Brown: Whenever a big defensive play occurs for the Dragons, Brown almost always rises from the pile. Brown has averaged eight tackles a game and has applied consistent pressure on quarterbacks.

Tampa Bay Tech safety Tajee Fullwood: He had one of the biggest nights a defensive back could have in the Titans' 14-7 upset of perennial power Plant. Fullwood finished that game with three interceptions and two fumble recoveries.

Sickles linebacker Josh Black: Black has been a terror, collecting nine sacks in four games. He's also averaging almost nine tackles a game. With Black leading the charge, Sickles' defense has given up an average of less than 10 points a game.
