I have been to many major boxing fights in the past

 

I am pissed I never came up with the mma idea

 

it was fun seeing one time

 

very violent and it mirrors our country in usa at this time

 

the guys who owns this must be a billionaire several times over

I did some trial lessons at an MMA facility here a while back, and while it was fun, I didn't feel it was practical unless one wanted to fight competitively, which I didn't want to do.  I signed up for tae kwon do instead and it has been amazing.

Were you spotted leaving the UFC fight early with a guy in a tight muscle shirt as well?

Bellator is the only real competitor out there now, I think. They are somewhat different though as they do tournament style drawn out over months. Still very fun to watch.

Strikeforce was on Showtime and was also a competitor, but UFC bought them out. UFC is most definitely the MMA powerhouse though.

Just read your article you posted. Pride and WEC were both absorbed by UFC as well.Take all the absorptions out and you're left with UFC and Bellator top 2. Never heard of Pancrase. I have heard of EliteXC because they have fought at the Sun Dome before, as did Bellator recently.

As for the owners of the UFC being billionaires?  Pretty much.  They are the Fertitto brothers, casino moguls, and own UFC under the Zuffa umbrella they incorporated to do so. 

 

My passion for UFC is only behind the same I have for the Bulls and Flyers.
