206, I think your right after reading both of his comments I could see how he could get confused and think they were backing off if they did make a comment like that. Which I could see them saying if they said that to Ingram and then told Ellison to worry about his grades. Seems like they want to see the WR's they're looking at perform and finish any hiccups that might stop them from being apart of this class first before accepting a commitment. I think the WR's we're targeting are solid but none are on Bronson's or Holland's level. Young and Lee both look solid as well.

I'm +1 with you on that Capone. Not sure all of those are exactly the the priorities, but Holland and Bronson are definitely showing out and I think they are serious about USF. 206, not so sure that the only 2 WR thing is dead on, especially with Griffin going elsewhere. My thinking is that we are looking for 2 big guys and the best of the slots(maybe Joc). I think Ellison has some advantages because of his hometown Dream Team roots. Looks like Bronson is coming in Wednesday after camping at UA this w/e. If he doesn't have a solid from them, perhaps he kicks off Sling n Shoot with a bang.

While I can see us taking 3 that has to be the max. We still need another QB, another RB, another TE a couple DBs and we still haven't really addressed either line much or LB much. We'll use all our schollys but I can't see us taking more then 3 WR and even then I think its 2 personally. Griffin was a loss but he had 1 year left(2 with medical redshirt) so it shouldn't affect our WR depth enough to take more than we Need.need.

I'm thinking he's going elsewhere. App State or Marshall

We put him on hold, don't think much has changed since then.

I wish him luck wherever he goes. Marshall would be interesting as they'd obviously be thinking of him as potentially another Aaron Dobson.

I'd go to Temple or Cincy if I were him.

Well I would wait to see what USF thinks, if I were him. ;)

Not that I want to torture myself, but two things:

1.  On twitter he says WEDNESDAY at 6pm. Not TODAY. Tomorrow.

2.  He specifically hash tagged: #Marshall, #USF, #Cincinnati, #FAU and #Toledo

So I would take it he's announcing one of those five schools...and USF is clearly one of them.

On the one hand people think it's difficult to imagine USF's offer has gone from not committable to committable.

On the other hand, he clearly talked to the USF coaches a few weeks ago. Clearly at least one conversation has happened since that snafu happened. What if the coaches merely explained to him why they couldn't accept his committment at that time but they still want him? What if the offer turned committable basically during that phone conversation?

Why would he continue to put USF in that top five if he still held hard feelings about it?

Just sayin.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
