Isn't Tommie Frazier his cousin? I figured he was Nebraska bound from the get go and USF was a place holder until his offer came through (which it did after a visit the USF staff asked him not to take).

Not according to those that want to blame Holtz for everything including the plague and locust infestation.
I don't recall anyone blaming Skip for the plague or locusts. I think this must be more exageration.

Does the fact Holtz didn't start the plague or initiate a locust swarm free him of responsibility for the things he actually did?

Are we playing games today?

Clearly Holtz is blamed for all kinds of things that he had no control over. It is a simple and obvious point, made by people other than me in this thread.

Clearly this topic is only about Brion Carnes.

But it may as well be about global warming with the yarns being spun about Skip choosing Gunsby OVER Carnes .... He chose Gunsby over no quarterback recruited... which was still a bad move in hindsight.

Sorry, Bulliever prefers to spar with me instead of you even when we say the same thing.

Do you know exactly and definitively what happened between Carnes and Holtz? Do tell.

You might be missing the point.

Wouldn't disallowing any person from speaking his recollection or opinion unless "you know exactly and definitively what happened" be a little overbearing even for a guy like you?

Besides, I doubt you have any exacting and definitive proof anyone has blamed Holtz for the plague or locusts.

It's a message board, you know that. People post opinions and positions. It's really shouldn't twist you like this. Relax, or I shall release the plague-ridden locusts.

(Yeah, it was me. Not Holtz).

Excellent.  Somehow blame me while at the same time not saying anything to defend your position.

Classic.

Clearly I need a new login, since others can say exactly the same thing I am without being attacked.

Buh-bye

Ok. If you feel under attack, you must know the plague-ridden locusts was a joke. I should have added a smiley.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
