Maybe he saw the SMU QB beat us, and thinks Bortles will leave early for the NFL. Hope he does.

Wish we wouldn't have stopped recruiting him. Would be nice to pull 2 QBs in this class

No clue.  We don't see to have a traditional QB in this class, but have 2 athletes in Flowers & Porter that could be interesting.

I don't really know either.  I got the impression at the time that we had gotten a little passive on him since Litton/Flowers were looking like commitments, then when things turned ugly in that department, he had already been reeled in by SMU.  (That's all my third hand observation though.) 

 

I have no idea if the staff thought/knew he was soft on his SMU commit, and whether they pushed for him if so... I would hope that they were aware of his wavering, but if they were in the dark as to all this it's not great for us either.  Fingers crossed that they have their eye on some other big-time QB to flip.
