UCONN has officially rebranded itself as UCONN in full capital letters. They came out with a new block letter style too, then they released a new husky logo today. I think it looks pretty slick, definitely more aggressive and updated, and more accurate looking as well (love the blue eyes touch).

The new logo is an improvement.

Agree...much improved.

Maybe time to take mascot 'Ole Uconn' for that proverbial one-way hunting trip.

They must be prepping for the ACC.

I have mixed feelings on this.  I think it was good that they created a unified brand for all sports. The new husky is an improvement over the old one, but it doesn't come off as identifiable as UConn. I have mixed feelings on them keeping the classic C for baseball; I like keeping the tradition, but I hate that its the one logo not unified (just the OCD in me). Their helmets are a joke and should be destroyed. I'm getting tired of "but the kids like them" as a way of deciding uniforms. You don't see Bama changing their uniforms. There was nothing wrong with the block C they had on their helmet.

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
