I'm no marketing guru, by any stretch of the imagination, but wouldn't it make more sense to schedule the events so that alumni or fans could attend more of the events and make the day an event in and of itself? Example: Move one of the softball games to Friday or Sunday, Schedule the baseball game Saturday at 10 or 11 am with the softball game to follow at 1 or 2 or vise versa. Then move the Spring Game back to 6 or 7. Call it the Spring Day of USF or something cornier, but a fan could make a day of it. Just wondering out loud. Its easy to say that, but you also have to factor in travel considerations for Alcorn State and Providence. Softball is playing Providence twice on Saturday, and once on Sunday. Providence will likely be flying in Friday evening and will be flying out Sunday evening. If they pushed the softball games back on Saturday, they would conflict with the baseball game. Plus, when dealing with conference schedules, they have certain policies about the schedule that USF must adhere to.

I'm not going to be driving all over the place on Saturday... they should have had the football practice on campus, like normal, and then followed that up with a softball/baseball double header. We need to STOP having spring games at Buccaneer stadium when we have the space on campus to have it at USF.

That's the first time I can get there and see what my seats actually look like. It's also nice to play in an NFL stadium, I'd be ok with watching at USF...if we had an OCS. Travel may have dictated the schedule for when they could be played and there was nothing they could do to accommodate all of the events
