Of those three, Webster and Grissom are the two who fill pressing needs for the Patriots and the two who have the best chance of getting drafted by the Pats. This isn’t simply a case of Belichick just checking out an in-state school, because these three prospects are solid, intriguing players. ... Kayvon Webster is one of my sleepers in this draft class, and he has been flying under-the-radar. The USF standout has impeccable work ethic, and that’s what allowed him to play himself into a starting role, become a star for USF, and then put himself squarely on the draft radar of teams like the New England Patriots. An invite to the East-West Shrine Game, Webster lacks the flash that several cornerbacks heading into this draft have, and that’s why he is underrated. He doesn’t get many picks, but he sticks to wide receivers like glue and was easily one of the best CBs in his conference. He simply shuts down the guy on him, and Webster is one of the better CBs in this class in pure man coverage; it’s just that good ol’ covering doesn’t get noticed as much as it should in the pre-draft process." Hoodie is a BRILLIANT talent scout and has a knack for finding hidden gems in the draft... the fact that he is even looking at these guys is a huge compliment to them and a testament to their talent. would love to see any of them find their way onto the Pats´roster next year. There has been 3-4 USF players who the Pats have picked up but none have worked out. Off the top of my head Warren, Tmac, Mcclain, Jones (won SB vs rams) but im sure there have been others. Only Grissom & Webster have a shot with the Pats and if they do go there it will be as a late round pick or UDFA. As a Pats fan I've been wanting them to pick up Jenkins as a good backup for cheap but that will never happen Edited March 26, 2013 by deters-

He's a very good tackler, very fast, good in man coverage. Biggest downside is he never getting thrown at, so his ball skills are questionable as there isn't much film in that area last year. If he'd have had the fortune of having better secondary mates, he'd be a surefire pick. May end up being a highly coveted UDFA as it stands
