Maybe Doug just has his hands full finding a football team he's reasonably confident we can beat. We haven't given him a lot of options the past few years. When Ball State isn't a gimme anymore, you're sort of ****** when working on a schedule.

Greg stated that it has been somewhere around 2009 that we announced a big game for our OOC... Honestly, Doug needs to step it up, this is really going to start hurting us in many ways down the road.

So deflating... Just hope UF keeps it's word and gives us that other game they owe us...

I remember hearing on 98.7 when Bill McGillis was on for USF all access that they are currently in talks with schools from the B1G, SEC, and ACC setting up OOC games. This was about 3 weeks ago.

I'd like some explanation  from administration as to why we are scheduling I-AA schools in years where our conference slate will be significantly weaker than it is currently. Is it that no one wants to play us? Does our coaching staff want to play I-AA schools to start the season? I'd have to think that ANYONE from a BCS conference would be a better pick up than stony brook/Elon. Maybe they anticipate a tougher conference schedule by then?
