This probably isn't the right place for this thread, but I assume Trip will move it.

 

Holtz was thinking that he had Woulard locked up, which he did until Holtz was fired.  No knowing whether AW would have stayed committed, you can't blame it on Holtz for this year.  You can blame Holtz for not bringing in a QB last year.

 

Based on what we are hearing, this will be a run first team.  I think we'll be fine a QB for next year, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a transfer.

Yeah, my commentary was on last year. This year I understand AW decommitting after Holtz was fired.

Woulard was NEVER a lock.  He was gone the first time he got a better offer.  Holtz should've had 2 lined up...maybe he was afraid of bruising AW's ego.

I don't think we really know how close White was to commiting when everything went down ... and for some reason, it's been like pulling eye teeth to get multiple qb's, or single ones for that matter, to commit in any given year.

Was always one of my biggest issues with the old staff, they just never seemed to be thinking ahead. Or able to get the kids we needed

 

We will have a lot of growing pains this year with other positions too:

 

QB

K

P

CB

 

We just need the fans to relax until this staff can get these kids some playing time and reps

I know right...I've been on here a while actually.  Took a couple years off from posting cause the negative vomiting was turning me into a nasty fan.  Decided to come back and not get too involved.

 

But I know relaxing on this board probably can't be done

I dont think K will be a problem. The kid we have committed from Miami is pretty solid.
