I don't know if Dungy was asked to coach or to help find a coach. I think the football world would be turned on its ear if Dungy took the USF job, or any college job. Everyone expects him to either stay retired or take over an NFL team.

He was asked to coach both times. This time though, he help with the search.

This is a terrible hire. There are bigger names and better coaches out there. Looks like USF took the cheap way . The program has not upgraded one bit with the hiring of Taggart. Looks like a lot of

Listening to the presser, the thing that had we say to myself "Wow", was when they said Tony Dungy was involved with the process. Very nice of the guy to lend his time and opinions.
