I was listening to Ron and Ian and Ian talks of Chris Forrester of the Bucs as OC during the Dungy era being an idiot like that. It is crazy how far people like that can make it simply due to connections and not ability or knowledge. Oh the politics of the workplace....

Here's his Wikipedia entry. 20-8 in two seasons as head coach at BC, while Matt Ryan was there.

And the ONLY two times they made the ACC Championship game.

I wouldn't be okay with him. I am still trying to figure out "HOW" he became a head coach.....because it didn't sound like he knew actually how to coach.

The first sign of problems with Jeff Jagodzinski came early in training camp.

At times, the communication was too slow, resulting in delay of game penalties. Too often, Jagodzinski would look at the down and distance and determine on which hash mark the ball was spotted but reverse the formation. Or there would be only a partial play-call.

Before coming to the Bucs, Jagodzinski had limited experience as a play-caller. As the Packers' offensive coordinator, head coach Mike McCarthy made most of the play selections. At Boston College, he relied on former East Carolina coach (and current Bucs running backs coach) Steve Logan as offensive coordinator.

The last line on that same link says this:

"I think Jags might be a better head coach or a better position coach."

The above is not an endorsement from me, I'm just sayin' - but he does have a pretty decent, albeit short, track record as a head coach.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
