That's why you really only see the biggest schools going that route and why the smaller schools dedicate so much to the spread Ding, ding, ding. Not only that, but with the schools that will be left in the Nouveau Big East, we'll likely match up better with a lot of them by continuing some variation of the spread. I'd love to see some smash mouth defense. There's no reason we can't play that with all the Florida talent within an 80 mile radius. If the "Nouveau Big East" is based on speed, wouldn't it follow reason that they couldn't handle a pro set offense. Why do we have to match up with them? Why don't we require them to match up with us? Why is there an asumption that no big linemen come out of Florida? How do we know we can't recruit "big" linemen? Have we tried? WAY TOO many assumptions to immediately dismiss an offensive style.

If you think we have run a quality version or anywhere near the version of the spread we should or have had the coaches to actually install it your crazy..You are a fool to want a pro style offense. We have zero shot of producing points consistantly that way. Im over it. These are the same people asking for Gruden to come be our coach. There is no reasoning with some people. We can't win games in the north after Nov with it. It is an offense that is finesse based and that does not win games on a consistent bases. The people who say no to the change are the same ones who piss and moan about coaching, players, etc. Some times teams beat up because if our inferior offensive system. Florida produces more than enough skill players on defense and certain offensive positions, offensive line isn't one of those positions. Bluechip Florida o-linemen go to UF or FSU.. We need to focus on winning the Noveau Big East and being as dominant as possible for the foreseeable future, I total change of offensive philosophy, I don't think gets us there. I know opinions are like ********, we all have them.

Run and shoot tires your D and does not work in adverse weather conditions (which we get at least three times a year).
