Fox 13 claimed on the 10:00 news tonight that the short list of coaching candidates include Steve A'Dazzio, Rich Bassacia, Derek Dooley, and Joker Phillips.

are we really considering the head coach of temple?(13-11 with no impressive wins in his only winning season) ................ A coach who mainly has dealt with special teams the past 10 years, derek dooley who just got fired from Tennessee(15-21), and Joker Phillips who got fired from kentucky(13-24)...?

Are we trying to move forward or do the same old ********

What do you mean "same old ********?" Skip had better credentials coming in than all 4 of those guys ...

Hope that's not true because I don't see us getting someone with better head coach credentials. This is why this going to be tricky for Doug and a bit of a crap shoot ... I don't envy him in having to make this hire.

No, it is not fair to assume that. Actually, it would be quite absurd to assume that.

If this were true, how would any team ever get better, and how would new head coaches ever enter the ranks and last? All successful coaches have to start somewhere. Triple B is dead on - Skip Holtz had as nice a resume as anyone USF could have hoped to have hired, so if your assumption is correct, USF can never get better at all.
