That being said, I think it's been said that his recovery is coming along well, but I could be wrong.

Christ Hem.... I almost pissed myself. Chris was cleared back for conditioning and non contact drills in December... He'll be non contact thru spring ball but should be cleared back to full contact well before fall practice starts. Last I heard a decision on whether he would RS this coming season had been made. There were discussions but that was before the staff change.

Whatever info he gives me is what he wants me to know. Take it for what it is. Would I like him to RS? For his sake I wish he would. He has enormous talent that most USF fans have only had one play to see (On his own he took 2 receivers out of the play... then almost picked the QB when he still threw that way) and I think an extra year would help the knee. Knowing his personality... I expect him to play next year. The kid lives for the game and his swagger is going to match very well with our new coaching staff. Really hoping to see this kid back on the field if he's all healed up, he has a ton of potential. Get well Bivins! In retrospect, it's obvious they should have redshirted him last year but those decisions are always difficult. I'm excited to see him on the field but the cautious side of me agrees that he should take this year off.
