I have to agree with Spence here.  Fball is light years ahead of bball right now and recruits are coming because of our past success and the fact that we are a BCS school.  

The basketball side of the conference looks like this:

UofL, Cincy, GTown, SU, Nova, ND, UConn, Pitt, Providence, Marquette, DePaul, RU, WVU and traditionally St. Johns, plus anyone else I forgot.  Imagine that one of these programs will still finish 12th in the conference and just barely make the conference tournament......that's scary.  That said, Mc is the right man for the job but fball will do better than bball in the short run..............USF96
