Pass on Addazio, duh. Temple is dead last among FBS teams in passing yards, in the bottom half in rushing yards ... there's a reason many Gator fans were thrilled when the dude wasn't kept on board as offensive coordinator when Meyer bolted. This team sucks under Holtz, but that doesn't mean every other coach who sucks is a better idea.

Is there a more overpaid coach in America than Holtz?

Gene Chizik at Auburn makes $3.5 million

Jeff Tedford at Cal makes $2.8 million

Randy Edsall at Maryland makes $2.25 million

Charlie Weis at Kansas makes $2.0 million (basically a push, but I give the nod to Weis for being far worse than Holtz. At least Holtz won something at ECU).

Doesn't Gene Chizik have a national title?

He freak lucked into Cam Newton.

Go look at Auburn today. They are 1-4 and just lost to the dumpster fire Arkansas team. Their lone win is an OT victory against ULM. He's easily the most overpaid coach in America

At the rate things are going we are paying $1.0M per win - any other coaches getting paid that much per win? On a good note, its nice to see that USF is willing to pay money for a coach. Next time they just need to make sure its on the right one.

Any hire has a chance of being a flop.
