I don't recall last year - was there a 'midnight madness' or has it been "on hold" since '06?

I'm guessing that things have changed since the March/April time frame. It could be, as the

first article states, that there hasn't been sufficient interest to warrant the midnight show.

Amazing we've managed to have any level of success with the morons surrounding athletics. So second rate, it's really Dumbfounding.

So we heard that we would be having a Midnight Madness this year for basketball.

Well today at the game they finally made an announcement.

It's called "Hoop-La" and it will be October 12th at 8:00pm.

Aside from the lame name, nice of them to schedule it with a home Volleyball game starting at 7:00 and a home Women's Soccer game at 7:30.

Hopefully whoever announced it had the time wrong ...

Cpl questions surrounding this Hoop La and the Season

The first game is Nov 10th UCF. So would this Midnight(8pm madness) be a full month before the first game?

Secondly when will we BB season ticket holders get our BB Tickets?

Lastly will BB Season ticket holders get to sit in their seats for this Hoop La or will it be general admission and free for all fight to get our seats?

Anyone have the answers please let us all know.
