Every good receiver in the country gets double covered and still makes plays. On postgame Skip was asked why Fitch went away from the run when it was really effective on first couple of drives. He said "well, they put 8 in the box to stop the run and went to man coverage". How is it possible to bring 8 men up, double Davis and not have a back, a TE and/or a WR wide open on every play? They can only use 11 guys. Fitch doesn't know how to adjust!!!!! This is on the QB, not Fitch. I'm sure WRs were open, our QB doesn't have the vision to see the open guy. Not like Fitch has 2 WRs that stop running a route 5 yards off the line, and just one completing a route. I remember one deep ball thrown to Hopkins down the right side that was way off, and he had T-Rex (I think) about 10 yards ahead of his defender over the middle running into the endzone. It's QB vision in this case, not on the OC.

Have we involved one in the offense? Well... We know that Price is #12 because he had the holding call on the long run and he had a false start last week too. Sorry to pick on the frosh, but at least we know he was in the game.

Their D line is one of the best in the country. Our OL did pretty well, all things considering, IMO. Catch?

Landi and Shields are experienced. We haven't thrown more than a handful of passes to them as a group.

Kind of hard to do, as tall as he is and it was a short route.
