Popek wasn't at left tackle Saturday. Damien Edwards was.

No excuse for what happened on that play. We fans sitting over 100 yrds away (opposite end of stadium) could see BJ was not in the game, We saw Floyd enter the game. How do the coaches not see it when they are paid to manage the game?

That is a whole other issue.

after i watched the replay i have to say, Floyd saw the pressure coming because he tried to speed up. At that point you have to protect the ball. I still agree that he should not be put in that situation but he pooped in his pants.

.3 seconds from snap to hit. What can you do in 3 seconds?

Coaching staff major fail. Again.

You know, this game wasn't as out of hand as it may have seemed. Take away that stupid call that led to Floyd's turnover for a TD, and call more conservative plays before half-time so BJD doesn't cough up an INT that leads to a FG, that's 10 less points that we don't give up in a 13 point game.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
