Great Job Kick Coverage Team in giving up a HUGE Kick Off Return after we break out in front....Aren't a lot of Defensive Starters on Special Teams? Figures...

Defense was fine. Special teams could use work but I didnt expect much tonight from them.

Special teams had a clutch punt block, punts were a bit short but generally good all night. That late fair catch muff that we recovered was scary... do you think we practice fielding punts?

But the defense played great. This is the #4 team in the nation right now we are talking about. They got short fields, they got brakes go there way, and the D still held them in check. I just don't get this team... the team we fielded today shows up to the first 4 games this season we are 4-1 without even trying hard!

Defense played pretty good tonight. To hold FSU to 23 (not counting the fumble TD) is pretty impressive considering how many points they've been putting on their opponents.

And considering if you don't count the fumble you can probably knock off a couple of field goals too where turnover or special teams play put FSU pretty much in field goal range to start the drive. I don't think you could have expected much more our of our defense tonight.
