Ok, guys. The reality is that Lamar has not shown enough to even be third on the depth chart. We have one senior graduating this year at RB. There isn't suddenly going to be a lot more playing time available next year. If Lamar is redshirting, it is because he isn't in a position to be productive.

He did a fine job fielding punts and kicks in 2010, and personally, I'd rather have him back there as a return specialist as opposed to risking injury to my #1 WR (Mitchell) or my #1 corner (Webster) which is what is going on right now.

As to the OL vs RB discussion..

my thoughts are a Good OL can make an average RB look good.

a Bad OL can make a great RB look average.

I like that quote and I feel the same way.
