Looking over the roster, haven't heard much about him. Didn't he have a torn up knee or something right out of high school last year? What's going on with him now?

I think Greg said he was looking good in practice but will most likely redshirt with all of our new found depth at WR.

We really shouldn't be expecting freshmen to make a big splash. The big programs don't. The freshmen have to work hard and earn their way. That is where we need to get do, and we're getting there with improved quality depth.

Mut's made some nice catches, but he'll redshirt. Actually had his right arm in a sling the other day. Nearly all the receivers are back in 2013, so might be another year before he can make a significant impact.

Maybe I'm saying this wrong. The point is that just because a freshman isn't making an immediate impact, doesn't mean something is wrong with him. It means the program is healthy.

Of course some freshmen will have an impact, but that should be the exception rather than the rule.
