Within 2 miles to staidum, free breakfast and happy hour near international plaza, pool, etc. Thats where I put out of town guests that come for games

I am usually able to get a very good rate, in advance, and the hotel is clean, close proximity to great restaurants (Berns Steakhouse & Hatricks come to mind) and RJS. Always got a nice hotel, Hyatt, downtown Embassy Suites, ect for around $60-70.

If you are more concerned with things to do other than the game, stay downtown or on the beach in Pinellas. but if you want to be near the game stay at the Holiday Inn Express on Dale Mabry although it is probably already booked up for this game one thing about Tampa is we have no shortage of decent hotels and nice prices. nothing like orlando with disney and such. Once you find a place with decent reviews nearby, you can search for the best price online Here is the page for the Grand Hyatt someone mentioned. Put your date in and hit Show Prices and all the websites will pop up with their price. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g34678-d85885-Reviews-Grand_Hyatt_Tampa_Bay-Tampa_Florida.html
