I know it is wishful thinking, but I hope they continue to play some of Steve Czaban's show in the morning. The show can be funny and irreverent. It is the only sports talk show which I seek out. I know that it probably will be eliminated since it takes away from the people who want to talk about the Bucs ad nauseum....

No more Czaban. They are going 100% local.

Yeah, I heard that, hence the wishful thinking. It sounds great on the surface about USF but I wonder how long before it becomes all Bucs all the time. I wish them well, I cannot stand 620.

It will be interesting to see what happens with the USF partnership. I know that the only person who spoke about anything USF on a regular basis and with a fair opinion on "that other station" (620) was Chris Thomas. The others ignored at best or bashed USF. After Thomas passed, there was no longer a reason to listen to that staion for any kind of sports talk....

I never listened to local 1010, only the national shows in the evening and early morning so I cannot give a fair opinion of the guys who were sacked.

I think 1040 requires that you sit under their tower to be able to hear them so I do not know if the letters 'USF' are even spoken on there either.

JP Peterson was the only host that did't make the transition.... that was a gain as he's as bad as Duemig.

He was one of those, huh? I have no problem with a host being critical but they have zero credibility when everything they have to say about any subject (sports related) is negative.
