at this point, it might actually be a better thing for USF, as brett will be more focused on the college sports world as a whole, and isn't going to really have time to focus on USF unless something big happens here, which would be big enough for other networks to report on as well. since leaving for CBSS, he's had a few jabs at USF, but nothing of the level as before. Props to him if he thinks ESPN is the pinnacle of reporting or something, he'll fit right in with the way ESPN does business.

Which surprised me because Pat Forde always seemed an ESPiN guy in the way he did articles, so I was surprised when he got out.

I'm sure Brett will be good for a journalistic jab from time to time... what doesn't kill us will only make us stronger. Heck, be happy you're not an alumnus of Penn State. Either way, Brett doesn't have a microscope on USF as much as some of you would like to believe.
