So this may be irrelevant but it made me feel good. I am visiting family in Brooklyn, NY and hanging out with some of the neighborhood friends they asked me where I went to school and told them USF (explaining that it is University of South Florida thinking they didn't know) but they did. They said "Ya we know about USF, they're a big school with a good football team!"

The hometown Bucs also underachieved, and struggled in-division against cold-weather opponents (in-conference for USF), before winning a Super Bowl. I think we actually have the talent to win the Big East this year. Hopefully, the USF Bulls can capitalize and take the football program to the next level.
