.We need all the people we can get

Do they stop letting people in at 1400? Fire code capacity?

Don't know, but it's a good problem to have.

Feels almost like soccer back in the fall.

Need to make it loud and follow Coach Heath's philosophy (see signature).

There's no way that the place gets packed the way the UNM soccer game did.

1) Summer semester

2) I don't think they stopped letting people into the soccer stadium. Since they're selling tickets to this match, they will sell out and stop letting people in (my guess).

By total number of people, not it will not be the same. But the Softball stadium is much smaller, so I think the crowd will be just as dense. Soccer could have fit another 250 people in because of the berms going all the way around the field. Softball doesn't have that setup with the batting cage and scoreboard beyond the outfield wall.

Side note, they were testing out the NCAA video package on the scoreboard today (you know how the NCAA is about corporate sponsors and such) and they have some of the NCAA banners hanging up already.

Wasn't it North of the current soccer stadium, now in the middle of the football practice fields? I remember thinking that the Greco complex was nicer. Unless I'm remembering something else.

You are correct.

There are no seats out there, but couldn't there be standing room behind the outfield fence? I would think that they could even put tempoary bleachers out there, but it's probably too short a notice to effect that.

Going right to left, you can seat in the outfield on a mini "berm" up till that light post. From there the area under the scoreboard is gated off for safety. The area in deep center may not be allowed since it could be a batting distraction and it's also outside the park, but I suppose you could squeeze a few people out there. Then of course there's the batting cages in left field.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
