If they're adding him to next year's roster, does that mean the active roster or what?

If his mom did actually have a documented breakdown, even a minor one, then I think the medical exemption for being closer to home could come into play.

the mother lives in Ohio so not sure how her losing it would help with a hardship, she was pushing for him to stay up there since she moved up there to watch him

According to Greg, "Lynch is expected to sit out the 2012 season, and he'll have three years of eligibility with the Bulls starting in 2013, though he is seen as a potential early-entry candidate for the NFL Draft down the road. USF will apply for a hardship waiver that, if granted, would allow him to play immediate this fall without sitting out the year as normally required.

Is his mom getting kick backs from Notre Dame or special consideration from a Bishop or Cardinal?

No but they got her a cushy job in Cleveland. She must like that fat paycheck.

I'll believe it when he is on the field. Sounds like everyone, including his mother, is trying to talk him out of it. You know how you are at that age, things change fast.

Hello, he signed his scholarship papers today.I Guess you want to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. If it wasn't official, Skip wouldn't be talking about it. Maybe if a Tsunami wiped out Tampa, or a plague of locusts descended from the desert he wouldn't make into class.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
