He analyzed 10 players this year. Does this mean that our receivers got 10 players worth of off-season practice? Sounds great to me!

I saw him working out RGIII on our practice fields on an extended ESPN special tonite. I wish I knew where to find video, but it was muted where I was. If anyone can find it post a link, our receivers were wearing Bulls gear and catching passes. Would be a great advertisement for our receiver recruits.

Monday Night Football analyst Jon Gruden has mentored the likes of Andy Dalton, Cam Newton and Tim Tebow the past two years through his in-depth, one-on-one coaching sessions called Gruden’s QB Camp.

Gruden's QB Camp

The SportsCenter specials have provided ESPN with groundbreaking and innovative content that gives fans a first-hand look inside the film room.

The great news: Gruden’s QB Camp is back for a third season this spring.

Ten of the top quarterbacks in the 2012 NFL Draft class are scheduled to participate, including projected No. 1 overall pick Andrew Luck of Stanford and Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III of Baylor. Others include: Kirk Cousins (Michigan State), Nick Foles (Arizona), Case Keenum (Houston), Kellen Moore (Boise State), Brock Osweiler (Arizona State), Ryan Tannehill (Texas A&M), Brandon Weeden (Oklahoma State), and Russell Wilson (Wisconsin).

Each quarterback will visit the Super Bowl-winning coach in Tampa for a film session at Gruden’s office – affectionately dubbed the Fired Football Coaches Association (FFCA) – followed by an on-field workout at the University of South Florida.

Gruden will prep a custom lesson for each prospect that highlights strengths and identifies areas of improvement for the QB to be successful at the NFL level.

Gruden discusses QB Camp and his expectations for this year in the Front & Center podcast above. Here are dates and times for the specials that begin airing late next month:

Cue inane posts about how this will undoubtedly help USF recruiting. Sure has helped thus far.

May not help, but it can never hurt to have more exposure like this.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
