I lost a lot of my faith in Holtz this year, but he deserves 3-4 years. Though, if he goes 5-7 again next year that may be off the table.

Agree.

5-7 may be Ok with the schedule, but not with losses of the type we suffered repeatedly this year.

Stay, go, it doesn't matter. We are a bottom dweller at the moment. Not sure we have the right coaching staff, but not sure if its the assistants or skipper.

I am very pessimistic after this season.

He has a lot to prove.

I am 100% certain we don't have the right coaching staff. Maybe it is the assistants, maybe it is skip, but one thing is for absolute certain, we didn't have the right mix in 2011! We can start by firing the special teams coach -- special teams was completely unacceptable the entire season!

I think the DB coach too. We had our weakest showing, ever.... I am not sure skip is a guy who will make coaching staff changes. But if he rolls the dice, keeps it the same, and we don't go bowling next year, he will be gone. Year 3, 2 years of recruiting, and so many losses that were winnable this season, there will be some changes.... It will set us back a few more years, but I'd rather do that than try to wait it out if he cannot perform. I HOPE he can, we cannot afford that kind of set back. But just not sure he can.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
