She's tweeting now that she wasn't doing the L sign.

To me it's obvious. Why is it not obvious to anyone else?

This is way too funny. I am surprised that Gregg would give any creedence to this (in fairness I haven't seen the tweet, if it even exists). She could have been giving the loser sign, but then to whom...WV perhaps? Or she could have simply been brushing her hair back. I could see this being picked up from someone one here, but from Gregg...really?

Even our cheerleaders can't execute properly. :)

OK, now THAT'S funny.

She just tweeted that she has a broken nose and it had something to do with that.

By retweeting, I'm not saying what she did, I'm sharing a link to one of several blogs to seemed to think she did. I've since retweeted her replies on Twitter saying she wasn't making the "L" sign. We'll have a post up shortly to that extent -- this has gotten a lot of attention on the college football blogs. Watching the video again, I can certainly understand why people thought that was the case, even more so just a screengrab without any context.

I've known Amy for a few years now and I seriously doubt she would be doing this. She's even dating one of the players.

Who cares if she was doing it? The team lost and by definition were losers last night.

Note: I realize she wasn't

These are exactly the kind of distractions we need. Thanks.

Greg is trying to fill BMM's spot as crap-slinging gossip-monger. hey somebody's gotta do it... i guess.

the old "i'm just reporting what others are saying" meme is a lame excuse. u are responsible for what u write/Tweet in your professional capacity as an SPT beat writer.

shame on u, Greg, for adding fuel to this non-story and exploiting this young woman for your own gain. if u want to make a name for yourself break some news on conference realignment or dig up some stories about coaches slapping players. this isn't the way to do it.
