I hope that its not a 3:30PM game... between the nooner and the prime time game slots I would think that a 3:30 kickoff would hurt sales... 3:30 games are a day killer... I personally could not care what time it is since I'm a hardcore Bulls fan and will be there regardless, but the causal fair-weather fan might just opt out to sit at home.

Just a theory of mine.

I like the time. A nooner means a breakfast tailgate. Done plenty of those but it's a pain the arse. 3:30 means barbecue (smoked ribs and pulled pork sammies) and beer. 7pm is too late this time of year on a weekend since the sun is down early. Bottom line is 3:30 meets my tailgate requirements and I like it a lot.

It's in the other thread. ESPN has excecised an option to decide on Sunday.

pardon my french, but this is c rap. we all know that this market is fickle and most casual fans ( and a few hard-core) are not going to wait around for BSPN to decide. its been discussed ad naseum, but combine the recent winning (losing) record with weather like we're having now, and ticket sales are going to be horrid. Actual b utts in seats will be even worse. it stinks that BSPN has the ability to destroy conferences and affect ticket sales (profit or lack thereof) at the various schools.

You can't put a mediocre product on the field and then complain about ESPN. Sure, USF is free to schedule games whenever they want - just forgo all of ESPN's TV money. We don't have fans show up because for 4 of the last 5 games we haven't had a team show up. It is unfortunate, but can't blame ESPN for that.

I like 330. Allows you to cook out and drink a few beers and then enjoy the game and get home at a decent time. I prefer 7, but 330 is better than noon.

Amen to that!

330pm is the ideal Saturday gameday kickoff, unless we're fighting for a championship and getting Prime Time slots.

Not in September or early October in Tampa. Way too hot.

Point taken, I was thinking more this time of year.
