I heard that next Saturday's game vs Rutgers is not going to be televised... not even locally... and can only be watched via ESPN3 , which is more or less the local Rutgers feed.

Is this true? gousfbulls.com has not yet been updated to reflect this...

Not at all surprised. Will there be any good news at all this season? You know its bad if Brighthouse doesn't even want it.

I wonder if they'll be able to sell any ads on the ESPN3 feed, or if it'll always be dead air during commercials.

I had my first experience with ESPN3 watching the Cincinnati game. I was not impressed and overall it was a miserable experience. It was like watching the game on an old VCR tape.

Hopefully my sources are wrong and this is reserved for the USF vs. Rutgers game... hopefully USF or someone makes an announcement sooner then the week of...

Pretty sure it will ONLY be on ESPN3 like the UTEP game. According to the Rutgers website ESPN exercised their right to show the game EXCLUSIVELY. Meaning no BHSN....no nobody.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (October 24, 2011) –The BIG EAST Conference announced today that ESPN3 has decided to exercise its right to broadcast exclusively the Rutgers-USF football game on Saturday, November 5. The kickoff time has yet to be announced.
