How many bonehead mistakes can this guy and his assistants make? 15 seconds at the end of the half and he waits until 3 seconds left to call a timeout on 3rd down?? Throw a pass and if its incomplete you still have time for a FG.

Can't afford it even if your idea were good (it's not).

Definitely couldn't afford it on a cusa budget which is where we are heading.

With my temper, I was calling for it at halftime and would've had an assistant finish the game. Probably a good thing I'm not in charge, but I really was that displeased.

What the hell was that? Cincy guys were laying on top of our players... No flag.... Then we wait on the timeout....

What did they say on the post game??? I caught something about how skip knew what was going on but I didn't catch the whole convo...

They were saying that Skip called a pass play on that down (with the idea that incomplete = clock stoppage), but BJ ran it instead.

Skip didn't want to take a chance that BJwould get sacked or pull it down and run it again on the next play, causing time to expire if he didn't make it. So he decided that they should just take the 3 points, and let time wind down.

The problem lies in BJ on that one, per Skip's halftime interview. The play before that was a pass that would have been a touchdown or incomplete, positively speaking. BJ thought he could make the endzone but didn't, which didn't stop clock, which didn't leave enough time to run another play comfortably before kicking fg ... I haven't had a chance to watch recording yet so don't know how that fits the time left ... and also didn't understand why no penalty for delay on them, either.

If that's the case I'm okay with it... I still think there was time for a safe play... Maybe a rollout where BJ can just throw it out quickly if necessary...

Also the Umpire missed a Cincy player, I wanna say # 43, punch one of our guys right in the face on that same play. I mean, the entire Cincy defense reacted to that punch!!! But the ump, standing two feet behind it, ignored it.

Poor ass officiating and clock management.
