A punt returner should be a dynamic threat.

Landi is not dynamic or a threat

He has to catch it first.  Notre Dame had a dynamic punt returner that gave us the game.

You have solved a major problem. We have wide receivers that can't catch  ;)

I haven't solved it, merely pointed it out.    :(

I wouldn't blame Landi too much.  It's seems that we can't block the punt team well enough for him to even get started running.

none of the fault whatsoever falls on Landi's shoulder. if no one else can return better than he can that's not his fault.

that super capslock guy calling Landi a "TERRIBLE PRETTY BOY" is clearly a ****.

Landi is reliable at fielding punts, but TRex was sorely missed in this game.  Most of those punts had LOTS of room to run and TRex would have made the most of it.

Obviously, we have different definitions of, "LOTS"

Landi fielded punts with half the field open, but he didnt have the speed to make one man miss.

LOTS

Maybe I looked away, but I never saw him have half the field open.

If you don't have to fair catch you have a reasonable amount of space to try to make a play.

Landi doesn't have the ability to create his own space by making someone miss.

TRex would have been able to make a play or two.
