UConn/RU overrate themselves. South Florida needs to take leadership position and reshape Big East.

I don't have a source but I have speculation that USF and Iran will form a two team conference and call it the Big Middle East

I am going to keep digging for where I heard the rumor...

I disagree, though I do believe there would have to be other schools involved.  The service academies have a fairly strong national audience that would make for a better TV contract. 

I'm warming to the idea of ECU and Houston.  Houston because of location, though someone smarter than I would have to convince me they can actually pull the Texas market.  ECU would be a decent market with an up and coming program. 

Of course, I would take Oklahoma and Oklahoma State first...

UConn/RU better off looking to push b10 to expand east

Yeah, but most of his are "We think" not based on anything he has heard. 

I'm not impressed by his quote about the Big East being in panci mode by Thanksgiving and USF better let UCF in at that point.  The BE is in big trouble if it takes that long to decide on/get agreements from more teams.  If UCF is the team, it better happen much earlier than Thanksgiving.
