I know Coach Holtz will have a handle on this and will attempt to keep our team focused on the field, but the BE implosion must have an effect on the team and its spirits.  I am a little stressed over what is going on and the coaches and players have much more skin in the game.  I am trying to be optimistic hoping that we end up in a better position than we are now.  Fingers are crossed.

If I was on the coaching staff, I would tell the players that these games are our auditions for a new conference. Let's go out there and show them what we can do FULL THROTTLE. No holding back. Let's show them we will be an asset and carry the flag for our new home.

Good idea, but we still need some playing time for the 2's, to build some depth. Let's leave the starters in for 3 quarters.

They got a stadium built into a mountain and it's pretty cool. 

The stadium is cool but El Paso is an armpit.  One trip to the Sun Bowl was more than enough El Paso for me.  I won't even get into the pasting we took on the field...
