This would be awesome. Although we'd get our arses kicked for the next few years.

I'm pretty sure we could take Kentucky...

I'm sure we could take Kentucky, Ole Miss, and Florida right now. As for the rest... well that is why they invented beer.

Also its confirmed that Rutgers and UConn are aggressively seeking ACC membership (i.e. begging)... ESPn Radio also announced that the SEC has leaked that WV has submitted an application in person this morning to the SEC Commish in Gainesville.

Only like I have right now... still fluid

Should've been more specific...Alabama, LSU and Florida would rough us up a bit. I think we have a great shot at beating the others in that division.

WVU would have to goto the ACC for this to even happen. Why would the SEC choose us over them.

This is why

Holtz: College football landscape 'very unstable'

USF coach Skip Holtz didn't want to comment Saturday night on the possibility of Pittsburgh and Syracuse leaving the Big East for the ACC, but we asked him again on Monday's Big East coaches' teleconference about how that leaves the rest of the conference. Here's what he had to say:

"There's so much speculation out there on what's going to happen and how big are all these conferences going to grow to be and who's going to be where," Holtz said. "I think right now the landscape of college football is very unstable as far as who's going to be in what conferences.

"I know (USF President) Judy (Genshaft) and (USF athletic director) Doug (Woolard) have been working hard not only from a conference level but from a national level looking at everything and what all the options are for everybody as it all unfolds. For me, I'm a football coach. I've got my head buried in a bunker, watching film on UTEP and FAMU and what we're doing here. It's going to be interesting to see how it all unfolds, but right now, I think everything is speculation. It would not surprise me to see some more things fall or move over the next couple of weeks."
