Bump  ;D

That first pic of Kelly underneath Holtz' is awesome.  Looks like a still out of a comedy flick.

It does! National Lampoon's or Caddyshack type movie. Where the fun-loving, good guy coach get's under the skin of the guy everyone hates.

I loved watching the game and seeing the contrast between Skip and Kelly.  Coach Holtz exhibited a calm class throughout, so different from our days under Leavitt (who never seemed as horribly angry as Kelly did).

It seems that Kelly likes to coach out of fear and anger.  Skip instead coaches from a position of respect and admiration.  Irish players will fear Kelly, but I doubt many of the players would ever want to be like him.  I think our players will strive to live up to Coach Holtz's example and will fight harder for him because of the respect they have for him.  He's got a bit of that Tony Dungy vibe going.  Thinking about Lee Roy Selmon today, I'm sure he was very pleased with Skip Holtz as our coach because of his demeanor and quality as a man.

So happy to have Skip Holtz here.  I hope he makes it a career in Tampa and takes us to the mountaintop more than once.

Watching that play a few times i realize how lucky we were to get that turnover. it looked like the ball just bounced off #7's helmet? if so, all he had to do was look back at the QB and thats 6. talk about luck.

I along with many of us have watched Kelly through the years ... and last season in ND.

Never saw him this way. I would assume that he was told his job was on the line by his reactions.

LMFAO !  :ROFLMAO

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
