When the playoff contending Bucs, lead by an exciting young top QB and offense are blacked out this season what will the excuse be?

Glazers? Economy?

Trip and Co. go ahead and spin away.  :popcorn

I know the answer.  Tampa fans (as a whole) are awful.

Well, 10-6 last year with a 2nd year QB and a nasty young receiver and new RB.  I would think they 'could' get better.

They didnt beat anyone last year (but the Saints) but I dont think its far fetched to think the Bucs are a playoff contender.

why do you say no chance? that makes no sense.

I say we win one of the Falcons games, probably the one at home ... we've beaten the Saints at least once in the last two years, in NO when we were 3-13.  Also think we have a chance against Chicago as well, our corners don't seem to be too bad.

TB @ SF is not a push, we won there last time we played.  It's a winnable game.

The other pushes mentioned are correct.  No reason TB shouldn't sweep Carolina again.  I look at the schedule, and it's definitely tougher, but the Bucs, with their talent on the DL and Josh Freeman under center should go 8-8 or better.

It's really easy for someone from the dank and dreary Northeast to sit on an ivory tower and take potshots at the Tampa fanbase.  My question to you is, were you here running your mouth pre-Rex Ryan, when the Jets continuously sukked?  If not, I figured; if so, good for you ... it will be my pleasure to see NYJ fall flat on their faces in another playoff failure this season.  :P

Its not people from the Northeast who take shots at the Tampa fans, its mostly the Tampa sports writers, team owners, season ticket holders, etc.  People in the northeast couldnt give 2 craps about Tampa's awful attendance, in fact majority dont even know about it.  Only transplants do and they are from the NE and mid west.  Them WITH the above mentioned just cant figure it out.

I go to Bucs games and Im not even a fan.  Its weird.

there are plenty of sports fans in tampa....problem is...there are a huge number of them who are fans of other teams.

i dont know why that is so hard for you to understand.

i like to see the bucs do good and i pull for them but fact is that i would rather sit in a bar and watch the 49ers on TV along with all my other fantasy football players than pay $100 to go see the Bucs play.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
