What makes anyone think UCLA has more schollies to burn than we do?

 

Don't think anyone thinks they have "schollies to burn" -- AW isn't "burning" a schollie in anyone's book.  It's just that he's a boom or bust prospect, and for UCLA, there is very little downside to bringing in a QB with his natural tools if you can do so with minimal effort and just bury him on the depth chart if he doesn't pan out.

Out of curiousity, when was the last time his father posted in this thread? I've pretty much not cared since his de-committed the second time.

If this guy is a program changer at USF or NC State, what makes you think he can't win the QB job at UCLA or Clemson? Its not like these schools have been churning out can't miss QBs...

As someone above stated, they have multiple high ranking recruits there already or coming in. Same thing just happened in Florida. They brought in erm...Driskel and Brissett. They were both highly ranked qbs. Driskel won the competition and now Brissett is transferring.

Only been a member here since early December of last year, with 14 posts. I'm in a magnanimous mood ..... with great power comes great responsibility.

Oooh, I understand the un-spoken "rules" now..... post-9795-0-38608800-1359402909.gif  it's OK to reference 24/7 but not BR       Not saying B R is a legit source but without any other recent worthy news besides what kind of pizza AW likes.....it's all in the realm of applicable news.   I realize it's against the unspoken "rule" to reference a competing site, but we are all trying to get the latest/greatest.  At least I mentioned the source unlike the zillions of others who just randomly say "....he's going to xyz".
