Nc state just hired the NIU coach... What kind of offense did that guy run?

The same coach when NIU played USF in the International Bowl? Has to be a different coach.

Jerry Kill was coach of NIU when we played them in the Int'l Bowl. He is at Minnesota now. It's a different guy.

That different guy is Dave Doeren. Possibly the worst possible signing for us to have happen to NC State. You will CRINGE at the numbers NIU's QB put up.

But what style qb does he employ. If its spread we are basically set. I don't see Woulard as a true spread guy...

Rather hes a prototypical guy that has he ability to run as a second option.

Jordan Lynch is BJ Daniels size. Threw for nearly 3,000 yards and ran for another 1,800 and 43 total TDs only 5 picks. Freakish numbers, should've been a heisman finalist. IDC that he was a MAC player. Doeren may run a spread type offense, but every QB dreams of putting up numbers like that.

Yeah, he had the MAC figured out, it appears. Kinda like Kelly's rise.

If you were him, would you sign on the dotted line?

Potential four year starter. Chance to lift a whole team on my shoulders. I would.

Yes. He has a very unique opportunity at USF.

There is already some young offensive talent here too. Davis, Price, Montgomery all provide some excellent targets. The OL still has great potential. Just need a game-changer at RB too.

Agreed, at least I hope he is able to transition quickly as a true freshman at the next level.

I hope it has become apparent to everyone that AW is vital to the future of this program.

AW and/or any other QB recruit that comes in. The fact that we have so few scholarship QB's on the roster is not good. Relying on a bunch of mostly walk-ons to compete is a recipe for disaster.
