i am using the rivals preseason top 120 to base whether we are favored in our schedule or not for the following:

which game is our upset alert game?

ND: underdog

Ball St: Favored

FAMU: Favored

UTEP: Favored

Pitt: Underdog

Uconn: Favored

Cincy: Favored

Rutgers: Favored

Syracuse: Favored

Miami: Underdog

UL: Favored

WVU: Underdog

i called syracuse last year, this year i'm calling cincy. we shall see, they may turn out to be good enough to not warrant this an upset

I hope none, but UL has the makings of a classic TRAP game...

Cincy. They'll probably be potent offensively. If we don't match it, we lose.

They just didn't have a defense last year.  They're still young there, but will probably be more talented.  I still expect to win this game b/c I think our offense and defense will be better, and I still expect our offense to put up points on their D.  The key will be consistency.  Also, Collaros lost some good playmakers at WR this past year, so they'll need D.J. Woods and some others to step up.

I agree that the UL game does seem like a trap game at this point.

With our consistently average play in Big East games, I don't consider any of them upset watch worthy.

I think UTEP has the makings.

Miami: Underdog

I'm not so sure Miami will be favored this year.

We've got some major problems if we lose to Ball State, FAMU, or UTEP.  I think the most obvious upset alert will be for Cincy.  If they can find some consistency on defense, they could be dangerous.

The other will probably be Louisville, but that's only if they get decent QB play.  Their defense should keep them within rerach on most games, but I don't see their offense looking too good.

Ball St. will destroy us.

Hard to call upsets when we have no idea what we've got. Typical Big East. Right now I think the only real upsets would be FAMU, Ball St., or UTEP.
