What do you think about this young quarterback and would he be a good fit for USF?

This is great news, kid is the real deal...fits our system perfectly....he can throw and fast enough to run and create if things break down.

It's a good offer.  Height is a bit of a concern, listed at 5'10", but has a nice form and release.  He could be a nice fit for our system, but not sure how strongly UCF is after him right now.

he's kind of short.  usually when they're listed as a height this early, you can bet they're really about 1/2" shorter than what is written.

Yeah, height is a bit of an issue, but Floyd is not a tall guy and neither is Daniels, so he could have a decent chance at getting a starting job.  I wonder how hard Holtz and crew are after him.

Don't forget, these kids can still grow.  I know I grew quite a bit between his age and my sophomore year of college.

Eerily reminiscent of Matt Grothe.  Looks great, but I'm concerned about his height.  QBs under 6' can struggle with big offensive lines.

I didn't think the staff would offer him so soon if at all. They seem to really like him as a player and he's done very well on the combine circuit this spring. BTW, he measured in at 5'11 on the dot without his shoes on during his visit with Boise State yesterday

USF have had 2 great 6' and under QB's in its history. Maybe tradition continues.
