As funny as it is, I will be much happier when losing to USF is not looked at as "unacceptable," and more as just another loss against a quality team.

The way the writers and people state that losing to USF is unacceptable and should never happen is an insult to USF and shows that we have not arrived in the minds of the media.

I had a UM fan talking about Shannon and say something to the effect of... "you can't lose to USF" directly to my face. I usually just smile and nod. I can argue till I am blue in the face, but the fact remains, people do not respect us at all. I hope that soon changes. I am not sure that winning the BE is going to do it though. We're going to have to consistently be in the conversation for national titles. Keep ourselves in the top-15 or so. We're still a few years out, but, I believe that it can be done if the school continues to invest in the program.

Richt should be.  He's struggled lately and should've gone for it on 4th and inches near the goal line.  He gave them a moral victory after marching 98 yards and didn't step on their throat.

I'm sure Richt will be fired.  Not only did they lose, but they looked completely lethargic and out of sync.
