Sorry guys, can't make this one since I get into Charlotte at midnight.  I did make the Sun Bowl meet up and it was a good time.  Especially afterwards with MikeG talking with some Oregon folks.  See you at the game though.

The 2005 location was a bit "stuffy".

"stuffy" as in temperature? the audience was mostly 20-30 somethings... and they even played some of the HOT.

I don't recall it as being 'stuffy' - as in a bunch of old fuddy-duddy's.

IMO, I would say have it at Dixie's.  I did not go to the get together in 05, but I'm assuming they treated USF fans well as it was brought up again.  It's also walking distance from the pep rally which is also great.  It just seems to make sense.
