Cowherd just said that Jenkins quit on a play last night. Apprently the Cowboys have already given up on the season?

Anybody see this? What happened?

Yeah it was pretty bad.....He had a shot to tackle a guy going in for a TD and he blatantly pulled up and didn't even make contact.  It was so bad he announcers called him out and even went back replayed it and had further discussion on it.  They also compared it to a play that got Cromartie shipped out of San Diego.  Mike was also getting roasted pretty bad last night.  At one point they put up a graphic that he had been thrown at 8 times for 8 completions 90something yards and a TD.

Dallas is a steaming pile of train wreck.  Unless they make a coaching change it'll be Lord of the Flies before the end of the season.  Sucks that a Bull quit and was called out for it.

Looks like he pulled up to avoid going helmet to helmet with 43.  Not an excuse though.

I remember him getting called out for not trying to tackle Brandon Jacobs his rookie year (I think). Jerry Jones is pissed and nothing in this league is guaranteed so Mike better tighten up.

I'm not surprised.

The video shows it wasn't as bad as I thought it was .... thought it was a one-on-one whiff .... In Mike's defense, how many times do you see tacklers take each other out on a play like that? It looks like he looked up and saw #43 on him and pulled up .... yeah, I know, that's pretty weak.  ;)

Of course no excuse for the 8/8, td .... Just shows what those bastard Cowboys have done to him.  8-)

Whew.  I thought you were talking about Jaquez when I read the title.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
