Are we still capable of 8-4?

I've called my shot from the beginning. Miami is faltering so I am leaning towards us really having a shot at them as long as we get to Jacory Harris.

Last night's break of the losing streak shows that we are improving and its got me excited. The key for next weekend against UL is to stuff Powell's running game. That kid is crazy and I cant believe he is not in any post season award talk.

I don't think you can take anything off the table at this point.

Most expected 6-6 or 7-5 coming into the season and things are shaping up nicely for that....but 9-3 or 8-4 are certainly possible and I think all would be estatic to see it.

Things feel a lot different since the WVU loss....hope it keeps up.

9-3 is still a possibility, but a stretch.

@ UL and UConn are the most winnable, but I have a hard time thinking that we're better than 50:50 on them.

Pitt has shown some weaknesses, but I don't think we'l'll win.

Miami should have Jacory Harris back to 100% by the time we play them.  I think of this about the same as the Pitt game.  We'll have a shot, but it's going to take perfect execution and a little luck.

8-4 is more realistic, but I still see us at 6-6 or 7-5.

If we can knock off the Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium bug I'll say 7-5 or 8-4.

If we can knock off the Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium bug, we'll be 6-6 at worst and go to a bowl. That by itself will make for a successful first season for Holtz.

I say 7 - 5 is most likely.  8 - 4 a possibility.  9 - 3 is unlikely.

8-4, we will lose one game between Pitt and scUM, but not both.

I think we're definitely capable of getting to 8-4, but agree with others that think we'll split the remaining schedule and end up at 7-5.  Considering the improvement we've been seeing, I'll take it.  Beating Pitt and/or Miami would definitely change that prediction.  I like our chances against UConn here in Tampa.  I do think we've got a solid chance against Pitt down here, but it won't be easy.
