What the hell happened to the Big East??? Syracuse looks strong this year. But Cinci doesn't have their starting quarterback playing either.

Oh how pretty we'd be sitting if we didn't lay an egg against the Cuse. I can take the WVU loss on the road, but if we just make 2-3 plays against the Cuse, we win that one easily and the Pitt game could be the BE Championship.

I hope our offense looks OK again on Wednesday night. We need to win out. Miami looks weak today as well.

I can't believe we lost to Syracuse, they're the worst team ever! ;)

If the Big East winner comes down to a one conference loss team, I'd love for it to be Syracuse. I caveat that with a strong BCS game, if Syracuse blows up at the bowl I'll have to wonder - how much longer does Big East an AQ conference contractually?

The funny thing is, i'm sure some people up in syracuse were calling for Doug Marrone's head after going 1-6 in the Big East his first year at Syracuse..  the same type of people are calling for Skip Holtz's head after only 3 games in the Big East.

Oh Ye of Little Faith....

Not anybody worth taking seriously.

Who? I've seen plenty of people criticize decisions Holtz has made, every coach experiences that. And in fact every coach makes bad decisions occasionally. But who was "calling for Skip Holtz's head" at any point this season?

If today's results hold up, then wouldn't that be impossible since Pitt has already beaten Syracuse and Rutgers already has 1 loss and has not yet played the Orange?

You're right. What I was trying to say is if it's out of our (USF) control whether we win the Big East at this point, I would like Syracuse to come out on top.

31-7 in the late 4th Q...Cuse is beating them like they're school girls.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
